Welcome back to another instalment of What Was She Wearing: Answers! As always, this story is brought to you by WWWD's fantastic interns—the very super Allison and Jessica. Read on for tidbits galore on Mischa, Cameron, MK, and Nicole.
Mischa Barton
En-route to a lunch at West Hollywood’s Le Conversation, Mischa wore this embroidered 1920’s cloche. She purchased her hat at LA’s high-end vintage store, The Way We Wore (the boutique is a WWWD favorite, check it out: The Way We Wore). Doris Raymond, the lovely owner of TWWW, assured us that she has similar vintage cloches available for $150-395. We found some options on eBay, but if you’d rather DIY, brush up on your crocheting skills and order patterns online (HeartStrings FiberArts).
On a side note, we know that this isn’t What Was She Reading, however, in case you were wondering, Mischa’s book-in-hand is “Dry” by Augusten Burroughs. It’s a fabulous, follow-up memoir to his widely-read, “Running with Scissors,” and deals with his struggle to get sober.
Cameron Diaz
It used to be that when we heard 'Cameron Diaz' and 'stud' in the same sentence, a certain fellow who recently brought sexy back came to mind. Those days are no more. Now, the only stud our readers are inquiring about is the Marc Jacobs Sweet Punk tote. Though this particular style is not currently available online, similar styles are available at Saks Fifth Avenue ($1800, saksfifthavenue.com). You also may be able to find the exact bag at your nearest Marc Jacobs store. Visit Marc Jacobs for a vendor nearest you. Cameron: we’ll continue to drool over your arm candy.
Mary Kate Olsen
Seen here just after a hair appointment at the Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills, Mary-Kate Olsen is fashionably instep (as expected) in a pair of Yves Saint Laurent Savage Crisscross Wedge ($715, bergdorfgoodman.com) and the ever present
Nicole Richie
Sporting sweet new bangs, Nicole Richie was photographed above after having dinner at Mr. Chow’s in Beverly Hills. In addition to her new hairdo, she simultaneously captivated the interest of many of our readers who wondered about her stunning outfit. The dress is vintage Diane Von Furstenberg, so sadly it’s no longer available. But on a happier note, Nicole’s must-have Wolford Mat Opaque 80 tights are an easy, and fantastic opaque, find ($37.50,wolfordboutiquelondon.com).
